We recently spread our wings in the big apple and connected with local supermodel Fazon Gray.
Fazon Gray is a New York born model, actor and influencer who has been gracing covers of magazines and working with global brands for 13 years. With a passion for leaving a positive legacy and helping the next generation of models, we took to the rooftops in NYC to talk skincare and self-love with our Nalia Luminous Serum.

What does self-love mean to you?
‘Self-love is when at times you have to be selfish. You have to be very communicative with yourself and understand what rubs you the wrong way and what makes you feel good, what makes you excited and gives you a reason to live.’
Biggest skincare tip?
‘Pay attention to your skin and what reacts to it in the best way possible. Whether you have dry skin, really oily skin or somewhere in-between, for me an oil base normally woks best for me because my skin can be dry at times so also using the Nalia Serum helps deeply hydrate my skin.’

Favourite things about the Nalia Luminous Serum?
‘The texture, the oily base feels really light and relaxing. I love the smell of it, it's not too strong or overpowering but really fresh to smell. It's really smooth and I mean you feel rejuvenated right after you use it. It makes me feel handsomely beautiful’.
What does being ‘Unapologetically You’ mean to you?
‘You don’t have to answer to anybody else except for what you believe in, in this world. For me it's the ultimate form of confidence, when you do things unapologetically it means you genuinely mean them and it exemplifies who you are as a person and your uniqueness as an individual.'
Your go to self-care rituals?
‘I enjoy having a facial, massage, cupping, working out and going to the gym, drinking my water, praying, meditating. These are a few of the things that keep me balanced in life.'
Advice to aspiring models?
‘Create your own opportunities if you do not see them being presented to you.'
What do you want to tell the world?
‘To believe in yourself as an individual and you’ll see the circle around you change and people believe in you. Never give up, never quit no matter what.’
